Introducing ‘That’s Me!’ – Taking alumni personalisation to the next level!

We are very excited to announce the introduction of ‘That’s Me!’ functionality to SocialArchive®! Further to our automated facial recognition launched earlier this year, ‘That’s Me!’ takes engagement with your archival material to a whole new level for schools, colleges, universities, and organisations.

Dedicated homepage to display galleries and 'that's me' gallery

How does it work?

When one of your community members sees themselves in one of your archive photos they can simply click on their face in the image and tick the ‘That’s Me!’ pop up. Having done this, they will then instantly be able to view their very own personalised ‘That’s Me!’ gallery from your organisations’ homepage.

What’s more the ‘That’s Me!’ gallery will automatically pick up any other pictures of that user that have been published from the archive, so they can view all their school or university memories in one convenient place!

What is the benefit for schools, colleges, universities, and organisations?

1.     Personalisation encourages interaction and engagement with your archival material

2.     Encourage user submissions of photos and documents to increase the volume and quality of your archival material – ‘filling in the gaps’.

3.     Identify individuals in content adds to the completeness of your archival information.

4.     Increase the number of views of your published galleries as your alumni search for faces of themselves or their peers.

5.     Encourage sign ups to your alumni community as community members are driven to view content of themselves.

6.     Show value back to your community to thank them for their support.

7.     As your alumni community becomes more engaged, relationships are strengthened, and members becomes increasingly likely to offer additional support to your organisation.

Additional features around this functionality, to help identify other people and search the archive, will be coming soon, so please look out for updates.
